Oh wow--I can't wait for all the fun things we have planned in February!
- This Friday (February 5th) is our 100th Day of School! I have some very special activities planned for our class. In honor of being 100 days smarter, we are all going to dress up like we are 100 years old. This is optional, but I would love lots of participation! Please feel free to make this as fun as you and your child want--I am planning on decking myself out to go along with our theme. I promise to post pictures to Twitter!
- Special Family Project: Please have your child make his/her own Valentines box. Boxes need to be shoebox-size. You child can decorate her box any way she pleases. Please make sure your child's name is on the box and that there is an opening for the valentines to go in. We will need the box on February 12th for our Valentines' exchange. If your child would like to give Valentines, please have him sign his name on all of them. We have 23 students in our class. Small goodie bags are fine too, but students can't eat them during school.
- SPRING CONFERENCES: I have a button on our front page and a link here if you would like to give me a preference for what time you would like to come to our conference night. I have already started meeting with parents for spring conferences. I am going to stay late on February 11th for spring conferences. If I have already met with you once this semester, we don't have to do another conference. If you can't meet that night, please let me know and we can figure out another time.
